Physiology Index

Welcome to Human Physiology

A collection of video lectures, readings and worksheets for understanding the fundamentals of human physiology. A course in human anatomy will be helpful, but, each topic briefly summarizes the anatomy needed for understanding the physiology. Some of the reading assignments will reference other textbooks, but you can do fine with the OpenStax text.

The course is divided into "modules". Each module is designed to approximate one week of effort. This makes the design similar to a standard 16 week college semester, but learners are free to run through the material at their own pace. The course is self-directed with no instructor support.

The texbook version used for this course, OpenStax Anatomy and Physiology can be viewed here (please download to your computer to save bandwidth), or from the publisher at openstax.org.
