Welcome to Human Anatomy

A collection of video lectures, readings and worksheets for understanding the fundamentals of human anatomy and functional morphology. The course is designed for those that have never taken an anatomy course.

The course is divided into "modules". Each module is designed to approximate one week of effort. This makes the design similar to a standard 16 week college semester, but learners are free to run through the material at their own pace. The course is self-directed with no instructor support. In general, the material is easily understandable, but there is a lot of information. I tend to think the difficulty in human anatomy to be the volume of material, not the difficulty of the material.

The texbook version used for this course, OpenStax Anatomy and Physiology can be viewed here (please download to your computer to save bandwidth), or from the publisher at openstax.org.
